She graduated from the Academy in 2013, returning as a Course Advisor to mentor 150+ students at the Academy. Lisa is also a graduate of the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership, and is in her second year of study with Shinzen Young and Unified Mindfulness, certified as a Level-2 UM Coach. She is also a U.S. Air Force veteran who specializes in Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness and supports people diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and trauma. She offers meditation classes freely for veterans with PTSD, their caretakers, and Gold Star Families.
