Dr. Sarah Schmidt is an audiologist, former corporate manager, a mother, and a McLean Meditation Institute Certified Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher.
Sarah has always been passionate about helping others to improve their health both physically and mentally. She is eager to share passion for meditation and she helps others learn that meditation isn’t just for monks. She shares the benefits of mindfulness to everyone from busy corporate CEOs to stressed out stay-at-home moms. Sarah has been teaching since 2018, and her goal is to make the practice easy, affordable, accessible, and contemporary. She teaches virtually and in person in the Tampa Bay area. In addition to her class offerings, Sarah leads a free 10-minute guided meditation every Wednesday evening via Instagram Live and Zoom. This is an opportunity for people from all backgrounds and locations to join together in a few minutes of peace and silence. These sessions start at 8 PM ET/ 7 PM CT and typically last 30-minutes. Sessions begin with a brief introduction and discussion about a meditation related topic followed by a short-guided meditation and time to ask questions. Participants range from beginners to seasoned meditators. Everyone is welcome to attend!
