Carolyn Kuchel is a licensed professional counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a certified substance abuse counselor in Virginia, a nationally-certified rehabilitation counselor, a certified marriage and family therapist by the Virginia Tech Marriage and Family Therapy Post-Graduate Program, and a McLean Meditation Institute certified meditation teacher.
Carolyn’s spiritual journey began in 1997 when she made significant lifestyle changes motivated by stress and anxiety affecting her life and relationships. Through her path of personal growth, she transitioned her career and became a counselor and licensed therapist. She now has a private psychotherapy practice called Recovery Therapy Center where she counsels 30–40 clients a week in various areas: dysfunction, substance abuse, addiction, and trauma. Carolyn deepened her own spiritual practice by meditating and by becoming certified as a meditation teacher by MMI.
Carolyn’s desire is to share and happily pass the life-affirming benefits of meditation she has experienced to her clients and others who want to deepen their joy, peace, and contentment with life as well as find meaning, purpose, and direction.
