Meditation has changed Deidre’s life. After practicing regularly and incorporating it into her life, she became passionate about it and wanted to help others receive the benefits meditation can bring. She became a certified meditation teacher at the McLean Meditation Institute and teaches Simple, Easy, Every Day (SEED) Meditation method. With a committed practice of meditation, there will be a shift in how you feel and think. You will notice feeling more peace, compassion, and less stress. Also, you will become more focused and your sleep will improve. Overall, you will notice an overall sense of satisfaction and appreciation in life.
Deidre is also a licensed marriage and family therapist and licensed professional counselor. She has been practicing in the mental health field for over 20 years. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her background includes working in private practice in Arizona and California, and at various hospitals and clinics throughout the country. In 2001, she received a “Certificate of Appreciation” from the Department of the Army for providing services to civilians and the military in the aftermath of September 11 attacks on the Pentagon.
Deidre likes to hike, exercise, travel, and spend time with her husband and two daughters. She has a passion for the outdoors and is an animal lover. She also has a passion for helping individuals, groups, schools, and corporations learn the benefits of meditation. After working with people’s various emotional issues for over 20 years, she finds that meditation is the practice which can really help people live the life they always wanted.
