    Sharon was first introduced to Biofeedback in 1991 as a Human Kinetics Undergraduate and noticed immediate results on the volleyball court. Integrating further sport psychology tools with visualization and mindfulness-based practices she transferred her skills into the workplace.
    After graduating from the East to West Yoga and Pilates Center in 1996 she co-created the first YMCA YogaFit Certification and began an in depth, lifelong integration of Meditation and Mindfulness.
    In 2004 Sharon joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a Fitness and Sports Instructor and implemented the first yoga program at Canadian Forces Base Kingston. After being promoted to the Health Promotion Unit she began to study iRest® Yoga Nidra under the direction of Richard Miller, PhD. and other members of the Integrative Restoration Institute. Upon graduating from the Level 1 training in 2015 she introduced the Canadian Forces to this Military focused form of Mindfulness and began to specialize in Trauma Sensitive Training through additional learning with Warriors At Ease.
    Sharon continues her quest to provide innovative programming for her community through further certification with the McLean Meditation Academy where she is a recent graduate.
    Additional Teacher Specialties include; Sport psychology, mental fitness, trauma, chronic pain, active-duty military and veterans.
    Sharon's professional mission is to facilitate organizational excellence by guiding leaders and empowering individuals to improve their resilience through innovative and evidence-based education.
