The next cohort of the Meditation Teacher Academy certification training begins in April 18, 2026.

Cohort 34 Tuition:

• Early Bird Tuition is $2895 USD (Save $900 when you pay in full on or before January 1, 2026)
• Tuition is $3795 USD (after January 1, 2026)
• A $500 payment is due to reserve your spot. The balance of the tuition is due and payable in full on or before the start of the Training.

Includes:

• Both courses: Awaken, the Meditation & Mindfulness Foundation Course, and Become, the Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher Training Course.
• A Manual of Awaken & Become Lessons and a Teacher Training Manual.
• Tuition does not include the cost of textbooks – estimated at $125 USD.

Here’s How to Apply:

• Cohort 34 training begins on April 18, 2026. A full program schedule will be available by the first of the year.
• Cohort size is limited.
• Applications for the Meditation Teacher Academy are now being accepted. Fill out the application. Find it here.
• Once your complete application is received, you’ll receive instructions for scheduling a 30-minute interview with the Director of the Program, Sarah McLean.
• Schedule your interview and pay the $25 application fee.
• During the interview you’ll be asked about your meditation practice and experience as well as have your questions answered about the program’s content and structure.
• Qualified applicants are invited to join the next training cohort of the Meditation Teacher Academy.
• You will receive an Enrollment Agreement that you then can review, sign, and submit along with your tuition payment or deposit.

Enrollment Details:

• Once enrolled, you will receive the Awaken Meditation & Mindfulness Foundation Course study materials and gain access to the private virtual training site.
• Six months into the Awaken Course, you’ll embark on the Become Teacher Training, which includes three months of training and a week-long teaching practicum.
• Completion of the assignments and passing the oral and written tests from both the Awaken Meditation & Mindfulness Foundation Course and the Become Teacher Training Course are required to receive the Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher Certificate.
• There is an option to engage a Teacher Academy Mentor if you’d like additional mentoring during the program, and, if needed,  receive additional support for your meditation practice. Find out more here.
